From Maviri to La Ventana
Our story began in 2012 with Beach Club Maviri in Los Mochis, Sinaloa: a gathering place for kitesurfing, food and music, built with recycled pallets. In 2016, the founders followed the wind to La Ventana.
Chilo + chill
ChiloChill opened in March 2017. The name came from a conversation with friends and family: “chilo” for cool, “chill” for relaxed. Canvas tents, days on the beach and a welcoming community gave that idea a home.
More than a place to sleep
We opened as the winter wind season was ending, welcoming travelers to discover another side of Baja: summer water, snorkeling, fishing and life outdoors. That spirit of connection still shapes the resort.
